One of the very few non-South Australian Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre (GSM) blends.
Tahbilk, Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre, Nagambie Lakes, 2015
Opens with distinct, familiar regional (spear)mint with attractive choc/raspberry/spice “licorice bullet,” white pepper and stalky spice. Class and elegance from the glass. There’s a crispy smoky bacon edge to the fruity pomegranate and smooth mocha. Whilst this could handle medium term cellaring, I don’t believe there’s any point. Delicious.
RRP: $25.70
Alc: 14%
