Described by the winery as “the essence of Great Western Shiraz.” I can’t give it a better introduction than that.
Best’s Great Western, Bin No.1 Shiraz, Great Western, 2015
White pepper over blueberry, light cedary oak and fine Belgian chocolate (reminiscent of those marbled sea shells). Vinous silk with elegant tannins. It sits with a sense of ease and accomplishment, as if it knows 150 years of wine making means there’s nothing left to prove.
