This little beauty is a new release for Shingleback.
Shingleback, Los Trios Bravos, Tempranillo, Monastrell, Grenache, McLaren Vale, 2016
A stellar edition in the line up for Shingleback. In a regional sea of shiraz and grenache and blends, this is a shining beacon of drinkability.
Stewing plums, cherries, milk chocolate, warm raspberry coulis with kitchen herbs and lingering blackberry and blueberry. It’s a little slick on the palate first up before fine sandy tannins that are perfect for food (I matched with some slow roasted lamb leg and charred pumpkin). Great value. Buy a dozen and crack them at will.
RRP: $25
Alc: 13.5%
