Nougat like oak precedes grilled fig, light peach halves and roasted nuts. Richly textured with generous amounts of stone fruit and grapefruit pith, yet held back with enough restraint so as to not appear blocky or dumb. Elegant acidity draws a long finish to the echoes of smoky fruit. A delicious drinking chardonnay.
