Tasted blind as part of a line up of cool climate shiraz.
Angullong, A Range, Shiraz, Orange, 2015
Cherry cola syrup, medicinal herbs, sappy, white pepper. Sweet, polished fruit polarised with dull blackberry heart. The fruit feels forced and syrupy, finishes a touch bitter and a little charred. Potentially fruit held out too long on the vine? Would match a hearty beef stew.
RRP: $20
Alc: 14.5%
