The fruit is sourced from Berton’s Eden Valley plantings, French oak maturation.
Berton Vineyards, Reserve, Chardonnay, Eden Valley, 2016
Sweet jersey caramel oak influence, homemade lemonade, lifted melon, wheatmeal and even a confection of blueberry. Fuller, slippery mouth feel with plenty of Vegemite yeasty notes and sour acids. Bittersweet fruit profile that gets wrapped up by woody oak. Not the best in the range.
