Baily & Baily, Venture, Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, 2016

Light tawny at the edge of garnet. Sour/sweet black fruit with a eucalytpus spirituous still, blueberry, raspberry, resin, nut kernel and distracting plastic. Tart black fruit with resiny edge. Doesn’t feel balanced as the drying tannin washes over the remainder. Finishes into nothing much.
