Love the “chalkboard” approach to the label, plenty to read and informative! Michael Papps and Susan Yelland keep it fun but with quality first and foremost.
Yelland & Papps, Pinot Blanc, Barossa Valley, 2017
Light, cooling, refreshing apple, cucumber, lolly banana and gin & tonic (juniper and quinine) florals. Pinot blanc can sometimes fall into sweaty tropicals but no such fear here. The palate is a delicious amalgam of soft fleshy yellow citrus with lively acidity and finishing with smoky complexity. A point of difference in the white wine landscape and succeeds in its goal of being a fun drink.
