The 2nd edition of this wine with the labeling indicating the style “Dry & Crisp.” No stopping the pink train, toot toot, all aboard.
Jacob’s Creek, Le Petit Rosé, SEA, 2017
No mention of fruit but I’m guessing there’s plenty of grenache and maybe pinot noir in here. Opens vibrant and fruity with coconut slice, strawberry jus, fleshy red currant, chalk and little hints of musk (both lolly and stag). Giving plenty on the palate with strawberry “Warheads” lolly, cherry, watermelon and some chalky drying persistence. Finishes fresh and clean, providing a good value food matching option for summer drinking.
