Risky Business is the product of grape grower / viticulturist Rob Quenby and vintner John Waldron sourcing fruit from Western Australia (primarily Margaret River) and like this one, pulled from the heart of Prosecco country: Victoria’s King Valley.
Risky Business, Prosecco, King Valley, NV
Lots of excited bubbles and a firm head of mousse. Fresh nose of sliced pomme fruits, little hotel soaps and fresh straw. Tightly focused palate with light white peach, golden delicious apple and a fine sandy grip. There’s no sharp acridity or lemonade qualities: The flavours are gentle, comforting, fun…reminiscent of lying on a bed of fresh grass in the spring with blue skies and a warm sun. Carefree without being careless. Quality example of the style.
