Jim Barry, JB, Grenache, Rosé, Clare Valley, 2017

A bright coral pink in the glass. Good grenache nose with light raspberry, strawberry, quince, chalk, pink apple skin, dried pawpaw and an earthy, smoky echo. Bright, ripe red fruits of cherries and strawberries off-set with refreshing juicy acidity and a lingering spearmint lift. The palate has a little weight to it, giving some body and breadth. A very good wine.
