The entry level pinot noir for distinguished TarraWarra Estate. Note, image is of the 2015, but no change for the 2016.
TarraWarra Estate, Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley, 2016
Opens earthier than the 2015 with moist beetroot/chocolate cake, black tea, burnt orange rind, cherry, rosewood and toasted sweet cinnamon. Feels urgent; in a rush with a spicy, minerally skeleton and a fleshy black cherry wrapped around these bones. It’s a good time entry level wine with a serious side and fine tannin to push the finish.
