When you’re blessed with abundant coastline and sunshine, this should probably be put on tap.
West Cape Howe, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Western Australia, 2017
I’m unsure of the ratio here, but it seems to be more Sauv Blanc dominant with campfire ash, green fruit tropicals, passionfruit and grassy aromas. There’s support from limey citrus, but it plays the co-starring role. Gooseberry and lime slug it out in a light, zesty grudge match. Ultimately does exactly what it needs to do and is a well made match for any kinds of freshy fishy type dishes.
