A step up from the 2015. Kirsch, cherry and plum with pipe tobacco, bramble, clove, cooling slate and a savoury dark yeasty finish. Juicy and darkly fruited with sweet-ish cola highlights there’s fine sheets of chewy tannins. Well put together.
