Part of the flagship range for Bremerton. Unique bottle, tall and heavy. Bottled under cork.
Bremerton, Old Adam, Shiraz, Langhorne Creek, 2014
There’s no disguising the intent of this wine. From the outset it breaks the banks with coconut husk oak, cola syrup, plums for days and butler’s pantry of baking spices. An almost luscious palate with inky black fruit coming thickly, thickly before constricting tannins close this chapter. It’s a paradox. It should be clunky, clumsy but there’s a life-beat of energy that keeps the finish fresh. Make no mistake, this is a wine for the hedonists but it still manages balance.
