Nothing crazy in the wine making here: Spends 10 days on skins to draw colour and texture before maturation in American oak (2,3 and 4 years old).
Shottesbrooke, Estate Series, Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2015
Plums and raspberry aromas are prime with herbaceous rosemary, black pepper and gravelly bluestone. Spicy, earthy with plenty of dark chocolate and plump fruit. Lifted with a surprising amount of acidity and fine tannins. Nothing out of place and carries plenty of flavour.
