No mention of the fruit used for this, but the back label reads: “Bred from estate grown grapes.” Probably shiraz and merlot then.
Rymill, The Yearling, Rosé, Coonawarra 2018
As with the SB, opens with a little too much sulfidic stink that takes a while to blow off, exposing red berry, strawberry slices, peach tea and green leafy herb accent. Simple red fruit with mushy brown pears and a green, chewy mid palate before finishing slightly waxy and somewhat dry (a little hint of sweetness).
RRP: $15
