In the Barossa, if you’re supposedly “not drinking,” you can still drink Riesling.
Jacob’s Creek, Barossa Signature, Riesling, Barossa, 2017
Heading towards medium dry on the sweetness scale. Tea tree and lime balm, lime skin, dewy grass, ginger and ashen leaf. Juicy and textural, the extra little bit of sweetness doesn’t stand out or seem off-balance, in fact, it helps round out the sharp, jangly acidity. Finishes chalky with a medium long tail. Plenty of flavour and structure for the price.
