Vanilla, milk chocolate, red apple, chalk, raspberry. Red fruit of raspberry and red currant through the palate with slightly hollow mid palate. There’s a chalky, drying tannin structure with a sharp acid profile and a little heat. Highly strung and perky for such a full bodied wine, like a drag queen in full flight post 3 tequila shots. I like the rusticity and drink to have this in tumblers with beef tostadas.
