From a single, “low yielding” twenty five year old vineyard in the Angaston Foothills on the divide between the Barossa Valley and Eden Valleys. 45% new French oak.
Woods Crampton, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa, 2016
Syrupy, wet tobacco and cassis, blackcurrant juice with a graphite mineral edge. Darkly concentrated, medium-full palate: cassis dominant, juicy black olive, bittersweet dark chocolate with fine, almost-chewy tannins. Modern, softly muscular and lithe.
