Dalrymple, Cave Block, Chardonnay, Pipers River, 2016

Sweet oak over lime zest citrus, white peach/stonefruit skin with a touch of nougat and some flint strike sulfides. A wine with depth and presence yet without arrogance or extroversion. The citrus lime and Tas signature acidity cuts sharp, the roundness of the oak and the vintage like a comforter. A deeper, richer expression but the class is apparent.
