Gundog Estate are based in the Hunter and Canberra (Australian Capital Territory( This fruit coming from the lauded Four Winds vineyard in Murrumbateman, just over the ACT border into New South Wales, but still designated as Canberra District.

Waif like in the glass, almost water clear with a hint of shine. Pure aromas with elements of light lime citrus and an almost a riper note of mandarin. Fairy Floss/Cotton Candy, Buerre Bosc pear, chalk and quartz all feature. A precise palate: tight without being shrill, delivering white rocks, flowers and puckering citrus juice to play their part up front with a little generosity before, wraith-like, it departs leaving the texture and acidity to haunt long. Delicious.
