Single vineyard. Old vines. A winemaker’s project from a single vineyard. 500ml bottle. Unfined. Unfiltered.
Chateau Yaldara, 28, Grenache, Barossa Valley, 2017
Light garnet colour with a near clear heart. Fragrant cherry aromas with light sandalwood and spice. Hints of licorice chocolate bullets and garrigue herbs. No hint of heat, but a silky texture with a firm yet elegant tannin structure which underpins ripe cherry fruit. A juicy, more-ish line of acidity provides freshness and lift. Classy and delicious.
