A change to the fruit source for the 2019, with it coming from a single vineyard, namely Tinkler’s School Block.  Note: bottle image is 2017, but no livery change.

Gundog Estate, Hunter’s, Semillon, Hunter Valley, 2019

Pale yellow and quite clear in the glass. While it maintains a steely lemon/lime citrus element, it carries a richer bent than its sibling, The Chase with melon rind depth. The bolder fruit profile of fresh lemon/lime citrus to the fine boned body ensures early drinking credentials while finishing with archetypal tangy acidity that leaves a pleasant thirst slaking tingle. Easy to pour a second glass.
