Tahbilk Shiraz 2017

The Tahbilk winery is like a living museum and a must visit for any wine lover. The core red wine ranges are fermented in large oak vats over 150 years old!

Tahbilk, Shiraz, Nagambie Lakes, 2017

Peppery spice under regional eucalypt matter. Varietal plum with a twist black fruits too. Medium to full weight. Bright fruit leads to waxy tannins with plenty of spice both from oak and fruit. There is a distracting, almost green/celery stalkyness undertone. Ultimately still varietal and pleasant.

RRP: $25.70
Alc: 13.5%
Rating:  16.75/20
