The Heggies Vineyard range is part of the Hill Smith Family Vineyards stable (with Yalumba as the flagship) and are crafted by Teresa Heuzenroder. The vineyard is a single site 500 metres above sea level in the highly regarded Eden Valley.

Heggies Vineyard, Estate Riesling, Eden Valley, 2019

This vintage pared back a little from the slightly richer 2018.  Lime flesh (the juice sacs), lime sherbet, white  blossom with cool slate/stone and leafy cress. The palate is well layered with good interplay between quality of light-bodied fruit and texture. Showing fine, piercing intensity with a long chalky finish. Plenty of potential to age.
