Mandala are based in the Yarra Valley and draw their fruit from their estate at Dixon’s Creek along with their Yarra Junction vineyard. Charles Smedley has a dab hand with the wines.

Eliciting “ooh” from me on the first sniff. The counterpoint of dark berry fruit with savoury, almost briny undertones, rich depth of meaty flesh and peppery spice. Medium bodied, darkly handsome with freshness, excellent spice and impressive drive.  Excellent value.
