From the house of Yalumba comes this 2L premium cask of vintage South Australian Shiraz

Darkly hued and in the savoury spectrum of Shiraz. Dark chocolate squares, steeping plums with some earthen qualities of root vegetables and a touch of spiritous alcohol tickle. Varietal, and more in the earthy, savoury side of Shiraz rather than the big plush plummy oak driven Barossa Shiraz. Gritty, streetfighter tannins give some depth to an otherwise slick, dark fruited palate. A decent length too. No issues with value here.
