Heirloom Vineyards, Alcala, Grenache, McLaren Vale, 2020

Bright ruby heart hue with a cerise rim. Floral and lifted nose: Blue fruits, cherry, raspberry and lavender flower with a minerally McLaren Vale spine and a sweet smoky waft. Medium full and young: The palate tense and almost nervy. A fine weave mat of tight tannin and bright fruit show plenty of potential. The finish is of good length, if a little closed for now.
