Lambert Estate, Thoroughbred, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa Valley, 2018

Big and forward and smelling warm. Overripe blackberry, baked orange zest citrus, dark choc, pencil shavings and extinguished campfire. Ripe shades of sweet black fruit with minimal chewy tannin and creamy choc oak. Clean but overdone fruit, unfortunately hollowed and finishing with an empty feeling.
