The Hero, Pinot Noir, South Australia, 2022

Garnet/ruby colour with bright youthful edges. Oversized/almost over ripe raspberry flesh, duck meat with cherry jus, fennel seed and roasted (unsalted) mixed nuts. Waxy grip with a whack of alcohol heat inflaming dark/black cherry fruit. Firm, hard tannin grinding to a medium-short, earthy, base, finish.
