Winemakers are Stephen Dew (saint) and Reid Bosward (the scholar and notably of Kaesler in the Barossa). A touch of onion skin blush thanks to the winemaking.

Crispy and crunchy nose. Spiced and interesting: almost “nacho cheese” corn chip over a brown pear, rocket and walnut salad aroma, melon rind and a slightly citrusy soap freshness. No debate of style versus label here. Delivers with expected weight: punches on target with appropriate acidity to phenolic richness. Has depth and cut. Points for personality.
