The Saint is Stephen Dew and the Scholar, Reid Bosward. A combination of French barriques and stainless steel maturation to keep this one frisky.

Saint & Scholar, Pinot Noir, Adelaide Hills, 2022

Deep garnet. Bright and lifted nose of cranberry and cherry fruit, kidskin leather, strawberry conserve and some crushed young thyme leaves. Medium fleshed with varietal sappy dark cherry, forest floor autumnal fallen leaf and brown spice. Maybe just a touch of heat dries out the back and forces a thyme/anise herbal punctuation to the deep cherry fruit. Drink now with mushroom and truffle risotto.
