El Payador, Malbec, Mendoza, 2021

Bright mid garnet in colour. Bright nose, too. Small blackberries, milk chocolate, kirsch, cassis and herbal, leafy spice. Mid weight through the palate. Spiced black and red fruits with an anise/licorice hint underwritten by furry, integrated tannins and small cut of acidity. A match for BBQ beef spare ribs or lamb chops.
