The 2021 of this picked up some little gold stickers, and this release will probably do the same.

Longview, Macclesfield, Chardonnay, Adelaide Hills, 2022

Pale lemon to gold in colour. Offering signature briny saline savouriness with nutty, leesy (Parmesan rind) undertones. Wax paper, butterscotch lollies, dinner roll, preserved lemon and preserved ginger. A little fleshier than previous years. The juxtaposition of creamy buttery lees and oak smooths the saline, briny drive impelled with ravishing acidity. Layered and long. This is fast turning into one of my favourite Longview wines.
