Winemaker Luke Steele and the team at Ross Hill let these grapes hang out there for a bit longer due to the cool, late vintage. 9 Months maturation in old French oak for fruit forward deliciousness.
Ross Hill, Harry, Pinot Noir, Orange, 2022

Medium Cerise to ruby colour. Lifted rose petal and easy chocolate aromas, underpinned by plenty of cherry and strawberry fruit. There’s a little shaved truffle, nutmeg brown spice, turned leaf matter and gunflint. Medium bodied and fleshy. Dark cherry, big ripe strawberries, cranberries with some Campari* bitter orange notes. Hyper fine tannins and bright acidity for easy texture and amping up the drinkability. It’s still identifiable as Pinot Noir but made for drinking (and enjoying) now.
