Château Tanunda, The Château, Grenache, Barossa Valley, 2022

Medium garnet to ruby. Strawberry jam, raspberry chunks, sundried tomato, ferrous steel, tea cake spice and a little waxy lipstick. Palate continues those waxy textures and green, stalky tannin (thanks to the whole bunch) with sour cherry and tart red fruit profile. Fleshy and forward with a clean finish, just missing some x-factor and vibrancy.
