Big time flavour is the intent here. Winemaker Corey Ryan.  helps out with the Elephant range. A mix of stainless steel and barrel (some new!) maturation with lees stirring.  Full malolactic fermentation for richness.

Pale lemon to straw hue. Yellow stone fruit, butter wrapper, spiced tea loaf (meal and peel), vanilla oak, white flowers and plenty of grapefruit. Big and round. Stone fruit, yellow apple and grapefruit flavour that comes across a touch hollow as the oak grip dries things out through the back palate. It’s not subtle or particularly long, but will definitely have fans of the style for the price.
