From the team at Fourth Wave Wines comes a new range of 3 Rosés. Here we have the “Crisp and Refreshing” entry. Made with Grenache and Cinsault (2 of the Provence grapes for their ‘benchmark’ Rosés) and put together by regular co-conspirator Corey Ryan. Heavy and heavily embossed bottle and clear glass.
Paddington Lane, No.1 Dry Rosé, Grenache, Cinsault, Fleurieu, 2023

Very pale salmon hue. Easy approach with summer red fruits, touches of gun flint, strawberries n’ cream, dust, chalk, cherries and a little pink grapefruit. Bone dry and a little gritty. Feels like a streetfighter of a rosé. Lithe and lingering with plenty of zesty fruit and a herbal overtone.
