From Rollo and Zoe Crittenden, the Los Hermanos (siblings) themselves. Sourced from the King Valley, inspired by the Crittenden’s travels around Spain. Tempranillo does a lot of the heavy lifting in Spanish red wine parlance, from Rioja’s Joven (young) styles through to the robust Crianza and big bodied Reservas. This sees minimal time (5 months) in old oak, so places it in the ‘Joven’ style
Crittenden Estate, Los Hermanos, Tempranillo, King Valley, 2022

Deep garnet with a bright edge. Fruity and fresh nose of plum sauce, dark cherry, choc raspberry and bluestone with herbed, spiced tones of lavender and cinnamon. Juicy and bright on the palate with a fruit focus and youthful acidity. Dark berries and a lingering cola spice. Just the right amount of toothsome ripe tannins, ready to match BBQ lamb steaks.
