Pale straw lemon in hue. Weighty, savoury base to the nose: Salted caramel, malt biscuit, grapefruit, flour dusted bread roll, cedary oak nuances and sea spray. The 2022 release saw structure rather than flesh, while this release has a little more generosity to add to the frame. Early drinking optimises the sharp cut of the acid drive and presents the soft rasp of the phenolic texture that will eventually integrate over the medium term.
