Take It To The Grave, Pinot Noir, Limestone Coast, 2023

TITG PiN
Medium garnet to ruby. Varietal deep cherry and black plum well wrapped in sweet oak, blood orange, crushed fallen leaf matter, savoury herbs, ferrous steel and a touch of chunky pâté. Medium bodied, yet full flavoured with that savoury herb edge shading dark red berry and cherry fruit. Tannins are firm, yet waxy. While  the finish isn’t complex or too long, it’s tough to get Pinot Noir under $20 that is varietal and while this ensures it shows where it’s from, there’s still enough to have required ‘pinosity.’
RRP: $19
