Château Tanunda, Grand Barossa, Shiraz, Barossa, 2022

Pink chalk, pink peppercorn, just ripe blood plum, prosciutto meatiness, blackberry, licorice twist and a hint of caramel oak sweetness. Offers plenty of vibrant, dark black fruit with savoury shadows of spice and some asphalt. Tannins are a little chewy and stalky, but don’t get in the road of the blended flesh. Thoroughly enjoyable.
