Mataro is Mourvédre (among many other names). Tenafeate Creek is based in One Tree Hill, just out of greater Adelaide and sits at the edges of the North West corner of the Adelaide Hills and the South West corner of the Barossa and fits into the Mount Lofty Ranges GI. Heavy packaging.

Ferrous, steely almost bloody with earthy truffle, dark chocolate richness over plum and blackberry fruit. Touches of peppery spice and dried herbs. Stainless steel maturation gives pure fruit freshness to the just medium bodied wine. Papery tannins under fleshy purple fruit shrouded with woody herbs and a fine finish of juicy acidity. Handsome and neat.
