This is old vine, bottle matured McLaren Vale OG for silly coin ($22 RRP). Basket pressing, foot treading, French oak (new and used) in the d’Arry way.
d’Arenberg, d’Arry’s Original, Grenache, Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2021
Deep bruise purple. Slightly sweet raspberry jube balanced by blacker iodine, graphite and tar, choc nut bar, balsa wood, grilled plum and some carry burnt ends. Slick and plush, full of flavour and the right amount of grippy tannin to cut through pizza and bbq’ed meats. Plenty here for the price and you know you’re getting consistency with the label.
RRP: $22
Alc: 14.5%
