The Rewild range are from Duxton Vineyards located in the Murray Darling region of NW Victoria (around Mildura and Sunraysia). This affordable range of sustainably made, easy drinking wines are also vegan friendly.  Duxton state their environmental credentials as Australia’s current largest certified vineyard holder and a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. The attractively packaged range are available exclusively across Australia in Dan Murphy’s stores. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this range, hopefully there’s been some improvement.

Rewild, Chardonnay, Murray Darling, 2024

Honeysuckle and honeycomb, candlewax and beeswax, grapefruit flesh, lime sorbet, candle nut, almond paste, almond croissant. preserved lemon, green melon and fly spray. Fleshy and waxy, tart yellow citrus with green tropical papaya and melon. Short through the finish with a jasmine floral lift. One for those that like bigger Chardonnay on a budget.
