Y Series Cuvée NV

Fruit from the major regions of South Australia. Made with traditional grapes of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Residual sugars of 8.5g/l. Wild ferment and vegan friendly. Winemaker is Andy La Nauze.
Y Series, Cuvée, South Australia, NV

Pale lemon with a green edge. Lots of fast tight bubbles. Frangipani and white florals, nougat, buttery pastry, bitter herbs, a touch of truffle and easy red apple skin. Easy aperitif style. Acid bright but kept in check with that little residual sugar, tempering the mid palate and promoting some sliced yellow stone fruit with sweeter brioche yeasty tones. Hyper fine mousse and short, but clean finish. Respectable value bubbles.
