Kyneton Ridge Skipping Rabbit Pinot Noir 2024

Kyneton Ridge are the first Certified Sustainable Vineyard in Macedon Ranges. Owners Angela and Andrew Wood have embraced regenerative viticulture, and through 2024, underwent a rigorous audit process of sustainability across the environmental, social, and economic aspects of their business. Winemakers are Andrew’s son Patrick and his partner Greta (from the 2022 vintage). 100% MV6 Clone. 7 day ferment before 9 months in French oak (15% new).

Medium garnet in colour. Toasty, roast meat and black and red cherry nose, raspberry jus, malt, balsamic strawberries and a touch of oak cedar. Mid weight with nice flesh and a sense of joy. The savoury malty tones off set with juicy raspberry and cherry flesh. perfume and rose water. Neat tannins fine and knit well. Medium length, but clean and enjoyable on the darker side of PN.
