Reschke don’t just produce structured red wines from the S-E area of South Australia, here they try and take advantage of the cooler nights in the region.
Reschke, Bull Trader, Pinot Noir, Padthaway, 2024
Medium garnet and a little turbid. Cherry paste, bramble, baked mushroom earthiness, deep rose petal, sweaty brown spice. Full flesh. Some varietal cherry and forest floor with lingering char and spice. The fleshy frame feels a bit too big and pushes it into ‘LDR’ territory.
