I can’t reiterate enough how good the value is of these wines. The label below shows 2017, but nought else has changed.
Tahbilk, Shiraz, Nagambie Lakes, 2022
Cherry kirsch with a dusty profile, blackberry, beetroot chocolate cake, cool mint and young eucalyptus leaves, white pepper, just roasted meats pulled from the oven and a little char. Just medium bodied, with a crunchy acidity and dusty, fine tannin. There’s a little coconutty oak, but otherwise bursting with rustic exuberance. Will live for years. Great value.
